Leroy Merlin's marketplace runs on Adeo's platform — the seller portal is at marketplace.adeo.com, shared across the Adeo group — and it is built on Mirakl. What gets published, and how quickly, is decided by catalogue quality: listings approve automatically once catalogue quality passes 65% with no errors, and everything below that waits on manual review through a ticket. The Mirakl score works the same way. Every seller starts at 50 points, drops to 48 on poor catalogue quality, rises to 52 on good quality, and reaches 60 with accredited supplier documentation. Catalogue completeness is therefore the single lever that decides both publication speed and standing. Sellintu's PIM maps Shopify products onto Adeo's taxonomy and attribute requirements, fills the fields that move the quality score instead of leaving them blank, and holds marketplace-specific values separately from your storefront copy — then keeps offers, stock, prices and orders in sync once the listings are live.
Setup requirements
- The Seller Portal at marketplace.adeo.com
- Catalogue, offers and orders are managed from the Adeo Seller Portal, which is shared across the Adeo group rather than being specific to Leroy Merlin.
- Tickets, not email
- Requests and questions are not handled by email. Everything goes through a ticket opened from Adeo Seller University at support.marketplace.adeo.com. Treat it as the only supported channel — messages sent elsewhere are not picked up.
- An Account Manager assigned on performance
- AMs are allocated according to seller performance and cannot be reassigned on request. A paid priority-support programme is planned but not yet live.
- Every brand registered before first publication
- If your brand is not already in the system, open a ticket giving the brand name. Creation takes 24 to 48 hours, and products cannot publish under an unregistered brand — so this belongs at the start of onboarding, not at the end.
- Catalogue quality above 65%
- Listings are approved automatically once catalogue quality passes 65% with no errors. Below that threshold every product waits on manual review requested through a ticket, which is the difference between publishing in minutes and publishing in days.
- Language fields filled only for the markets you sell in
- If you sell only in Spain, complete the Spanish fields and leave the others empty. An empty field is expected; a duplicated one is rejected.
- Images with no watermarks or company logos
- A product listing can be shared by other sellers, so watermarks and company logos are prohibited in every image. Supply clean product photography only.
- Delivery type configured deliberately
- Standard home delivery is kerbside only. Offering carry-in to a room requires configuring "entrega en estancia" explicitly, following the article in the Adeo support centre.
- Accredited supplier documentation, if you have it
- Documented suppliers reach 60 points on the Mirakl score against a 50-point default, so submitting accreditation is worth doing even though nothing blocks without it.
Common errors
- Product rejected as duplicate content
- Spanish text was copied into the other language fields. The system detects the duplication and rejects the product rather than ignoring the extra languages. Leave the fields for markets you do not sell in completely empty. An empty field publishes; a duplicated one does not.
- EAN duplicated in Mirakl and the product will not publish
- SKU or EAN identifiers were edited or rewritten inside the Excel template. Rewriting an identifier creates a second EAN record instead of updating the first, which invalidates publication. Never modify SKU or EAN in the template. Sellintu exports both straight from the Shopify variant, so the identifier stays stable across every sync and cannot drift by hand.
- Listing stuck waiting for manual review
- Catalogue quality is at or below 65%, or the record carries errors. Automatic approval only applies above that threshold. Raise attribute completeness against the Adeo taxonomy before resubmitting — mapping the missing fields once in the PIM clears the threshold for every product in that category at the same time.
- Image rejected
- Watermarks and company logos are prohibited in any image, because a listing can be shared by other sellers and the imagery would then carry your branding on their offer. Supply clean product photography with no overlay. If another seller is watermarking a product of yours, that is a legal matter — see below.
- Video file will not upload
- Direct upload of video files is not supported on the platform. Upload the animation as a GIF instead. The system recognises it as an image and accepts it.
- Catalogue shows as orphan in another country
- The catalogue is configured correctly but the product appears as "huérfano" in a specific international market such as France. This is not something the Spanish portal can resolve. Ask your Account Manager to escalate it to the local team for that market — the fix has to happen on their side.
- Score penalised by an incident that was not your fault
- Incidents count against the Mirakl score even when the cause sits with the carrier or the customer, and the default is that the penalty stands. Request the false-incident report template ("plantilla de reporte de falso incidente") from your Account Manager and report the case formally. Without that formal report the penalty is not reviewed.
- Another seller is watermarking your product or breaching exclusivity
- Listings are shared, so a competitor can attach imagery or sell into a range you distribute exclusively or selectively. Open a ticket to the legal team under "cuestiones legales y de cumplimiento" > "Violación de distribución exclusiva o selectiva". This does not go to your Account Manager.
