Douglas Shopify Integration — sync orders, inventory and pricing
Europe's largest beauty retailer, running a Mirakl marketplace across Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Spain. Sellintu syncs fragrance, cosmetics and skincare listings, stock and pricing from Shopify.
Selling on the Douglas marketplace
Douglas is Europe's leading premium beauty retailer — roughly 1,800 stores across the continent and a dominant online position in Germany. Its marketplace, one of the earliest Mirakl-powered launches in beauty, extends douglas.de beyond the retailer's own buying into partner-sold beauty, wellness and lifestyle ranges, and Mirakl's own reporting describes it as one of the fastest-growing marketplaces in the sector.
Beauty is an authenticity-sensitive category, and that shapes everything about selling here. Douglas curates for premium positioning and brand legitimacy — this is not a marketplace for grey-market or parallel-import stock, and the application process reflects that.
What you need as a seller
An EU-invoicing business, German-language product data with EANs, authorisation to sell the brands you list, and fulfilment that meets Douglas's delivery promise to German customers. Cosmetics carry regulatory obligations — EU cosmetic product notification, INCI ingredient listings, responsible-person requirements — and your product data needs to carry them. Commission is category-dependent and set in the seller contract; Douglas publishes no rate card.
What Sellintu syncs
Sellintu connects Shopify to Douglas's Mirakl backend with one connector. Products become offers with the EAN matching Douglas requires; variant structures — shade ranges, sizes in ml — map to Douglas's attribute tree instead of collapsing into titles. Stock syncs continuously, which matters doubly in beauty where launches and advent-calendar seasonality can empty a line in days. Orders arrive in Shopify alongside your other channels, and price updates propagate without feed re-uploads.
Getting started
Apply through the Douglas partner programme; approval includes brand and assortment review. Once your Mirakl seller account exists, connect it to Sellintu and map your catalogue once — the regulatory attributes are part of that mapping, so they stay attached to every future listing.
